Single-mode single-core fiber jumper is a special fiber jumper, whose core diameter is only 9 μ m, which is much smaller than the core diameter of multi-mode fiber jumper. Due to the characteristics of a single optical propagation path, the light can only be transmitted along the axis core of the optical fiber, so the dispersion and light energy waste are completely avoided.

OS1 has a tight sleeve structure for indoor applications with a maximum distance of 10km. The OS2 usually has a loose sleeve design for outdoor applications with a maximum distance of up to 200km.
