Box optical splitter is an integrated waveguide optical power distribution device based on quartz substrate. It has the characteristics of small size, wide working wavelength range, high reliability and good spectral uniformity. It is especially suitable for connecting local terminal equipment in passive optical network (EPON, BPON, GPON and realizing the separation of optical signal).

At present, there are mainly two types of 1 N and 2 N, which can input optical signals evenly into multiple exits from a single or double inlet, or reverse work to transfer multiple optical signals into a single or double optical fiber. In the production process, the box optical splitter is made by semiconductor process (lithography, corrosion, development, etc.), and the optical waveguide array is located on the upper surface of the chip, and the separation function is integrated on the chip, that is, 1 and 1 are split on one chip; then coupling the multi-channel optical fiber array at the input end of the chip and package.

In terms of structure, the box optical splitter has the characteristics of small size and beautiful appearance. It can provide different kinds of connector and tail fiber diameter according to customer needs, and the standard configuration is SC connector. Fast installation, reliable performance, stable working state, technical indicators meet the industry requirements of YD / T893.

In addition, the box optical splitter also has the characteristics of simple structure, insensitive to wavelength, good spectral uniformity, high temperature resistance and small size, which meets the reliability requirements of Telcordia GR-1209 and Telcordia GR-1221, and has passed the ISO9001 quality system certification. As the investment direction of optical fiber communication develops from communication trunk line, metropolitan network, LAN and private network to FTTP and FTTH, the demand of FTTH's core optical device- -optical distributor will continue to expand.
